Hojicha is a tea made by roasting green tea at temperatures between 200

and 250 degrees Celsius. The special characteristics of this tea are its aromatic smell

and the refreshing feel it provides as it goes down your throat.

The high quality tea leaves used to make this hojicha powder have been

roasted twice and finely ground with a grindstone.

This hojicha powder is made with tea leaves from Kyoto Prefecture.

It is extremely bitter, so its flavor is not lost when mixed with other ingredients.

Hojicha powder is very fine so it dissolves easily in either hot or cold water.

Therefore, you can drink it by dissolving it first,

but it also goes well with dairy products, so adding milk to create a cappuccino

or latte is a great way to make it even more delicious.

Drinking it straight creates a "hojicha espresso" kind of flavor.

You can also add sugar for a sweeter taste.

Hojicha powder is often used in sweets these days.

The bitter taste of hojicha also goes well with fresh cream and sweet foods.

as well as tea series with Japanese-style packaging for different tea producing regions.

We also produce gift sets with tea packaged in tea canisters

that have motifs based on traditional Japanese patterns.
